XPressPark Parking Alerts — SMS Terms of Use and Privacy Notice
HAH Parking, Inc.
Last Updated: 21 September 2026

This page governs the text messages sent and received through short code 98000 in connection with XPressPark parking passes. It supplements, and where it conflicts it controls over, the HAH Parking Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy with respect to SMS messaging.

1. Who sends these messages

Messages are sent by HAH Parking, Inc., a South Carolina corporation, doing business as XPressPark ("XPressPark," "we," "us"). Our mailing address is 255 King Street, Suite 10, Charleston, SC 29401.

Messages originate from short code 98000. We send messages on our own behalf only. We do not send messages on behalf of advertisers, affiliates, or any third party, and we do not permit any other business to send messages using this short code.

2. What the program is

The XPressPark Parking Alerts program lets you purchase and manage a parking pass by text message. When you text a zone number posted on signage at a participating parking facility, we reply with a link to purchase a pass for that location. If you complete a purchase, we can send you messages about that specific parking session.

This is a transactional program. We do not send marketing, advertising, or promotional text messages, and we do not use this short code to promote any product or service.

3. How you consent to receive messages

There are two ways you may come to receive messages from 98000, and they work differently:

  • You text us first. When you send a zone number or a citation code to 98000, you have initiated the conversation. We reply with the information you asked for. No prior permission is required for that reply.

Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchasing parking. You can always purchase and manage a pass through the web link without enrolling in notifications.

Your consent applies only to the XPressPark Parking Alerts program described on this page. We will not use it as permission to send you any other kind of message.

4. Messages you may receive

  • Pass options. A link to purchase a pass at the zone you texted.
  • Purchase confirmation. Confirmation of your pass, its expiration time, and a link to manage it.
  • Expiration reminder. A notice shortly before your pass expires.
  • Expiration notice. A notice that your pass has ended.
  • Help and opt-out confirmations. Replies to your HELP, STOP, or START messages.

5. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your use of the service. A typical parking session generates 4 messages. We send messages only in response to your activity; we do not send messages on a recurring schedule, and we send nothing at all between parking sessions.

6. Cost

XPressPark does not charge you for text messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Parking fees, where applicable, are charged separately through the payment page and are disclosed to you before you pay.

7. How to stop receiving messages

You may opt out at any time, at no cost, by any of these methods:

  • Text. Reply STOP to 98000. We also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, and ordinary language requests to stop. Capitalization and punctuation do not matter.
  • Email. Write to support@hahparking.com
  • Phone. Call 1-888-270-8335

After you opt out we will send a single confirmation message and then no further messages. Opting out stops all XPressPark messages on this short code, including purchase confirmations and expiration reminders. You will still be able to purchase parking through the web, and you can resume messages at any time by texting START to 98000.

8. How to get help

Reply HELP to 98000 at any time. You can also reach us at support@hahparking.com or 1-888-270-8335. We respond to help requests whether or not you are enrolled in notifications.

9. Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network and to the effective transmission of messages from your wireless provider. We cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered, and you should not rely on a reminder message to avoid a citation. You remain responsible for the expiration time of your own parking pass.

10. Information we collect through this program

To operate the messaging program we collect and process:

  • Your mobile phone number.
  • The content and timestamps of messages you send to and receive from 98000.
  • The zone or facility identifier you texted, and the associated parking session.
  • The vehicle license plate you provide for your pass.
  • A record of your consent, including the date and time, the method of consent, the wording shown to you at the time, and the IP address and device information of the session in which you gave it.
  • A record of any opt-out request, including its date, time, and channel.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor on the payment page. They are not transmitted by text message, and we do not store them on our servers.

11. How we use it

We use this information only to deliver the parking service and the messages you have requested: to sell and activate your pass, to notify you about its status, to answer your support requests, to enforce parking at the facility where you parked, to detect and prevent fraud and abuse, to maintain the consent and opt-out records that wireless carriers and applicable law require us to keep, and to comply with legal obligations.

12. What we do not do

  • No mobile information collected through this program — including your phone number and your consent to be contacted — is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
  • We do not sell your phone number.
  • We do not use your phone number to send you marketing, and we do not add it to any marketing list.
  • We do not permit any other company to message you using this short code.
  • We do not buy phone numbers or consent from third parties, and we do not message numbers we obtained from anyone but you.

13. Who we share it with

We disclose information from this program only as follows:

  • Service providers who operate the program on our behalf — our messaging aggregator, our payment processor, and our hosting providers — and only to the extent needed to perform those functions.
  • The operator of the parking facility where you parked, limited to the information needed to validate your pass and administer parking at that location.
  • Wireless carriers and CTIA, where they request evidence of your consent as part of a compliance audit.
  • Legal process — to respond to a subpoena, warrant, court order, or other legal requirement, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of XPressPark, our users, or the public.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Sharing for any of these purposes does not authorize the recipient to market to you.

14. How long we keep it

We retain opt-in and opt-out records from the time you first consent until at least six months after you opt out, as wireless industry guidelines require. Parking session and transaction records are kept as long as needed for the service, for enforcement and dispute resolution, and as required by law. We process carrier deactivation files so that messages are not sent to a number that has been disconnected and reassigned to someone else.

15. Your choices

You may stop messages at any time using any method in Section 7. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to support@hahparking.com. Some records — including consent and opt-out records — must be retained even after a deletion request, because carrier rules and applicable law require us to keep them.

16. Eligibility

This service is intended for users in the United States who are 18 or older. Do not use this short code if you are under 18. If we learn that we have collected a phone number from someone under 18, we will delete it.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. If a change materially affects the messages you receive or how we handle your information, we will tell you before it takes effect and, where required, ask for your consent again. We retain prior versions of this page so that the terms in effect at the time of any given consent can be identified.
